I am a first-year Ph.D. candidate in Political Economy at the Doctoral School of Political Science and a Junior Research Fellow at the International Center for the Study of Institutions and Development (ICSID), HSE University.
My research focuses on how corporate narratives and information production shape firm behavior and market outcomes in state-led and developmental contexts, with a particular emphasis on China. I am especially interested in the political economy of finance and accounting, government–business relations, and the strategic use of discourse in capital markets.
Methodologically, I specialize in computational social science and large-scale text analysis, including the application of large language models (e.g., BERT, GPT) to quantify political and economic concepts from unstructured data.
I hold a Master’s degree in Finance from China, where I focused on corporate disclosure and text-based measurement, and I am currently completing a second Master’s degree in History at HSE University, examining bureaucratic and relational (guanxi) cultures in China from a socio-anthropological perspective.
I welcome research collaborations in political economy, finance, accounting, and computational social science, particularly projects that integrate advanced NLP methods with institutional and organizational analysis.
